Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a beautiful blue stone with sparkles of gold composed of Lazurite, Calcite, and Pyrite which gives it the gold specks. It was a highly treasured stone by ancient Egyptians because the color blue was associated with Sky Goddess Isis, and the crystal symbolized creation and rebirth. It was even crushed and used as makeup under the eyes by royalty. Amulets made of Lapis Lazuli were found in King Tut’s tomb. Lapis can be found in US, Middle East, Egypt, Russia, Italy, Afghanistan and Chile.

Lapis Lazuli works well with the third eye and throat chakras, and is a stone for enlightenment and truth. It is also a protective stone that shields us from psychic attacks and connects us with our spirit guardians. Lapis is known to be an amplifier, meaning it amplifies whatever thoughts and emotions we currently hold at the moment. For that reason, it is best to wear Lapis Lazuli when we know how to conscious raise our vibration so our energy can be amplified.

Physically, it balances the throat and thyroid, the respiratory and nervous systems as well as the immune system. It also relieves pain, headaches and fevers.

Emotionally, Lapis Lazuli aides in releasing and processing repressed emotions so healthier outlets of expression can be formed.

Mentally, Lapis Lazuli encourages truthful communication and clear expression of the higher self. It also allows us to accept truth with more ease and courage. It releases stress and promotes deeper self-awareness and peace.

Spiritually, Lapis Lazuli aides in journeying towards enlightenment by connecting us to higher realms, accessing our psychic abilities and enhancing dream work.
